Software Engineer

  • Develop and ship features for open-source Android SDKs powering payment flows for PayPal, Venmo, and Braintree merchants (Uber, DoorDash, Airbnb, etc.) processing millions of transactions globally
  • Contribute to SDK-wide migration from callbacks to Kotlin Coroutines, modernizing async patterns to reduce code complexity, improve error handling, and simplify testing
  • Led Auth Tab API migration for browser-switch-android SDK, adopting Android’s authentication-focused Custom Tab variant disabling minimize and “open in browser” functionality – a top merchant-requested feature
  • Designed backward-compatible APIs with configurable constructor patterns and automatic fallback for Chrome versions <137, enabling merchants to adopt new features without breaking existing integrations
  • Shipped Payment Buttons UI module (v5.21.0) providing branded, fully functional PayPal and Venmo buttons handling the complete payment flow; authored developer documentation published on Braintree’s official docs
  • Triage inbound enterprise merchant support (Airbnb, Ticketmaster, Booking, etc.), perform root cause analysis, and escalate third-party SDK issues to vendors
  • Contribute to open-source SDK repositories on GitHub – View contributions →
